2025

Welcome to CCMC 2025!

June 19 - 22, 2025

The Campus ministries of the International Churches of Christ in the Caribbean are thrilled to be hosting their first ever Caribbean Campus Conference. Campus students from all around the Caribbean, and other parts of the world, will be congregating in Kingston, Jamaica from Thursday, June 19 to Sunday, June 22, 2025, for a conference, entitled, “Ignite.”

But this is more than a conference. Participants will be housed at the Rex Nettleford Hall, University of the West Indies (UWI), Mona, so they will spend enriching time together even outside of the scheduled meeting times. So it will feel more like a camp where lasting bonds are formed.

Sessions will start in the afternoon of June 19 and will culminate on Sunday, June 22, with an exciting worship service with the Kingston & St. Catherine regions of the Kingston Church of Christ.

Location

The conference will be hosted at Rex Nettleford Hall, University of the West Indies (UWI), Mona offering stunning views of the Caribbean Sea and a serene environment for reflection and fellowship.

es, there are a few stores and shops within walking distance of the UWI Mona campus.

  1. The UWI Bookstore – It’s located right on the campus and offers books, stationery, snacks, and some university-branded merchandise.

  2. Mona Heights Shopping Centre – A short walk from the main campus, this small shopping center has a supermarket, a pharmacy, and a few convenience stores.

  3. The Mona Village area – About a 5–10 minute walk away, there are small shops, cafes, and food vendors. You can grab groceries, snacks, or casual meals here.

  4. Supermarkets – There’s a Hi-Lo Supermarket and MegaMart not too far from campus, though they might require a short drive or taxi to reach depending on your exact location on campus.

Most of these options are within walking distance, though a taxi or ride-hailing service like Uber can be helpful if you’re carrying larger loads or if it’s a hot day!
